CAD services: James Fisher Defence

Zero-waste provided CAD services to James Fisher Defence, operators of the UK Submarine Rescue Team, over a period of 3 months. The major proportion of that time was spent in preparing a response to tender from the Republic of Singapore Navy for a complete submarine rescue system, to be based upon a bespoke vessel. Zero-waste was able to settle quickly into an on-site team that makes extensive use of the Autodesk Inventor 10 Professional CAD environment, complimented by 3D Studio Max. The major deliverables were a series of renderings showing the rescue system in simulated operation. Other roles included rapid concept generation and evaluation through CAD modelling, and using adaptive assemblies for iterative packaging studies.
